I have just finished my recovery nap from the OMFG drive from Dallas to IL. Yup, right at 15 hours of fairly straight-through driving. At least this year, I had help (the trip last year was very nearly the end of me).
My wife's best friend's wedding is this weekend, here in the NW Chicago suburbs, so this weekend is going to be hectic, at best. Saturday, I'll be leaving faire right after my final show to race to my car, dress for a wedding reception, and drive 30 minutes to congratulate a fantastic woman on netting a respectable guy. This will also, as an odd coincidence, be both the first time I've done this act outside of my home faire and the first time I've done it under my own name. Bristol, you see, overlooked the parts of my promo material with my stage name, and instead put me up as "Jeremy Welch" all day. No matter, you can still find me!
